Saved us from a 2016 flea outbreak — easy, long-lasting protection Review We struggled with a major flea problem in 2016 and tried sprays, drops, pills, and baths with little success. This collar stopped the infestations and kept our dog flea- and tick-free for months. Pros • Effective at controlling everyday fleas and ticks. • Long lasting — we buy one collar per year; package lists 8 months but it has lasted our household seasonally in northern Indiana. • Simple one-and-done application compared with monthly treatments. Cons • Pricey compared with some monthly options, but cost offsets frequent re-treating. • Not foolproof in heavy tick areas — we still find ticks after wooded hikes and remove them by hand, so I docked one star. Recommendation Buy this collar, use it, and expect months of reliable protection. Check your dog for allergic reactions after first use. Chunky’s fleas are gone Thank you you. SERESTO !!!
My sweet baby boy Chunky came down with acute pancreatitis. Although he he’s totally an inside dog I live in a very warm climate and you can just step on the grass and find fleas or ticks. After Chunky was diagnosed, I had to make sure I didn’t give him any medication that would impact his medical situation including monthly flea pills. He’s a very light haired fluffy Yorkshire Terrier who I actually delivered on Valentines Day last year. I researched a massive amount of flea products and found that this flea collar should be the best for his situation. After several days on him I noticed only one or two fleas after carefully inspecting him but these could have been picked up easily when he was outside. I also don’t see him scratching at all. I’m very pleased with this product and I will use it again. I try out a lot of new dog products and this is certainly one of the best flea collars I have tried. You’re welcome to comment on how pretty my Chunky is ! LOL
